What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable high-quality applications across new and existing product lines.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial architecture and development through testing and deployment.
• Architect and evolve the core stack including Python, FastAPI, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and Kubernetes.
• Translate complex business and product requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Drive improvements in performance, reliability, and CI/CD practices.
• Mentor engineers to foster a culture of engineering excellence and accountability.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep proficiency in Python (3.6+) and modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Strong expertise in SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience deploying containerized applications in AWS environments, including event-driven architectures.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience in real estate finance or financial services.
• Familiarity with event sourcing and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Experience with UML and architectural system design documentation.
