Location: Must be based in the US (Chicago, IL; Overland Park, KS; Kansas City, MO; or New York, NY). This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Salary: $110,500–$143,000

What you will do
- Build AI agents and MCPs into test harnesses to automate bug triage and generate agentic tests.
- Validate customer billing program logic in C++ against massive trading system output files.
- Develop and stand up testing for a next-gen streaming stack utilizing Java and Avro.
- Automate real-time data testing via CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Utilize the billing platform for forward-looking revenue forecasting and strategy modeling.
- Expand billing and invoice testing coverage across additional Cboe products and services.
Requirements
- Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, and C++.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Avro, Kudu, and Snowflake.
- Practical experience with agentic AI frameworks like LangChain, AutoGen, or tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.
- Solid Linux skills for the deployment of AI infrastructure.
- Working SQL proficiency and experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to have
- Experience in financial markets with knowledge of order entry or market data protocols.
- Proven track record of transitioning build practices from reactive to proactive.
