TL;DR

Customer Operations Lead (AI): Managing the human-in-the-loop layer of operations for an AI training data and evaluation marketplace with an accent on customer activation, engagement, and resolving complex platform blockers. Focus on building lightweight systems to streamline workflows and bridging the gap between technical GTM engineers and customer needs.

Location: On-site in San Francisco or Singapore. Relocation support and visa sponsorship available for strong candidates.

hirify.global is a YC W25 startup building infrastructure for RL training data and evaluations for frontier AI agents, backed by $16M in funding.

What you will do

  • Own the human-in-the-loop operations layer for data suppliers and frontier lab buyers.
  • Engage directly with customers to build trust, clarify context, and resolve issues.
  • Manage contract, onboarding, and platform blockers in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Translate customer feedback and recurring issues into improved processes and platform features.
  • Build and maintain lightweight systems to streamline operational workflows.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer operations, business operations, or consulting.
  • Strong judgment in customer-facing situations with the ability to balance helpfulness and escalation.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple threads simultaneously.
  • Technical aptitude and experience using AI tools for productivity.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in San Francisco or Singapore.

Nice to have

  • Early-stage startup experience.
  • Experience working with technical customers.
  • Familiarity with RL concepts like environments, evals, and benchmarks.
  • Ability to thrive in unstructured problem spaces.
