TL;DR
Senior Engineer (.NET): Building and optimizing cloud-native microservices and web applications for Credit & Verification Services with an accent on scalability, resilience, and cloud modernization. Focus on designing high-volume transaction systems using .NET and AWS while implementing DevSecOps practices and TDD/BDD.
Location: Hybrid in Nottingham, UK (requires 2 days per week in office)

What you will do
- Develop high-quality software solutions within an agile team aligned with business requirements.
- Translate requirements into clean, scalable code for cloud-native microservices and web applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and release features.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevSecOps practices to ensure security and code quality.
- Provide detailed documentation for system architecture and development processes.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C# and .NET 6+/.NET Core for building scalable REST/SOAP/RPC APIs.
- Experience with microservices or SOA architectures in regulated, high-volume environments.
- Strong skills in TDD/BDD using xUnit or nUnit and mocking frameworks.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and containerization via Docker.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Nottingham, UK
Nice to have
- Experience using Gen AI tools for coding.
- Knowledge of Python, Scala, or big data frameworks like Spark.
- Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Event Driven Architecture (EDA).
- Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK.
