What you will do

• Partner with the Head of Payroll to define and deliver strategic features.
• Decompose high-level initiatives into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
• Document complex workflows using data flow and sequence diagrams.
• Validate technical feasibility by collaborating with Engineering and Product Design.
• Audit requirements for data protection and PCI compliance.
• Triage bugs and manage high-priority functional queries as the primary technical contact.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a technical business analyst in cross-functional teams.
• Strong domain knowledge in payments or payroll software.
• Ability to map complex technical requirements using data flow and sequence diagrams.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in agile frameworks and iterative delivery.
• Must be based in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in Payments, Finance, or EdTech sectors.
