TL;DR
Principal Business Analyst (Fintech): Designing and deploying scalable technology solutions for the Equity Investments business with an accent on data capabilities and AI integration. Focus on bridging business requirements with technical execution, optimizing order management systems, and driving innovation within a global Agile environment.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Henley-on-Thames, UK (Hybrid: 4 days per week in office)

What you will do
- Liaise with Front Office business partners to define requirements for strategic technology solutions.
- Maintain and optimize system documentation and business processes for efficiency.
- Manage smaller project initiatives, including delivery status, risk assessment, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Capital Markets, Compliance, and external vendors.
- Leverage data science techniques and AI tools to build solutions for trading and investment communities.
- Provide consultative support to Engineering and Run teams to ensure system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Asset Management or Investment Banking.
- Strong understanding of Order Management Systems (e.g., Charles River).
- Proficiency in data science techniques and deep data analysis.
- Knowledge of AWS, Microservices (Kubernetes, Docker), API development, and DevOps.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholder management.
- Must be able to work on-site in Henley-on-Thames 4 days per week.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science.
- Experience in Agile squad ceremonies and backlog prioritization.
