What you will do

• Design and improve systems with a focus on resilience, capacity planning, and graceful degradation.
• Define and measure SLOs and SLIs to align reliability efforts with customer experience.
• Manage incident response lifecycles, including detection, triage, resolution, and postmortems.
• Build signal-heavy observability using tools like Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Optimize infrastructure-as-code and automation to eliminate toil and ensure consistency.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate root-cause analysis and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Mountain View, CA for hybrid work.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in SRE, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on coding proficiency in Python, Go, or similar production-oriented languages.
• Experience with distributed systems, observability, and incident management.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
