What you will do

• Build monitoring and alerting systems to ensure platform health and measurable reliability.
• Develop runbooks to enable faster detection and remediation of platform issues.
• Debug complex issues across the stack and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.
• Create Kubernetes controllers to automate operational tasks.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and a culture of blameless postmortems.
• Design platform components to improve efficiency for internal customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Robotics, or related field with 4+ years of experience (or Master's/PhD with less).
• Proficiency in Go or Python for creating robust production software.
• Strong experience scaling and securing services in AWS, GCP, or cloud-native environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code principles using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proven ability to author and maintain Kubernetes Controllers in Go.
• Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Loki, Jaeger, or Tempo.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
