Lead Financial Analyst

What you will do

• Perform financial and business analysis, including forecasts and trend analysis.
• Analyze financial reports and records; explain variances and recommend improvements related to reserves, assets, and expenditures.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to facilitate analysis and reporting.
• Lead and document financial analysis projects (data gathering, analysis, documentation, and ad hoc reporting).
• Coordinate with departments, locations, divisions, and external agencies to resolve issues and meet project deadlines.
• Present financial results and trends to management and advise on expected outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience/education in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• 7–10 years of related progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance, including experience leading projects of varying size and complexity.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team.
• Strong relationship-building and strategic, proactive problem-solving skills.
