What you will do

• Develop and maintain a high-performance search engine using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Manage large data volumes using Google BigQuery and integrate with BI systems.
• Build and optimize high-traffic APIs to ensure minimal latency.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA experts, and analysts to launch new features.
• Draft architectural decisions in partnership with the Tech Lead.
• Explore and implement new technologies to improve search functionality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• 2+ years of experience building scalable APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go.
• Practical experience with typed programming languages like TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of SQL or No-SQL databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an English-speaking agile environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with dbt and MPP data warehouses like Redshift or BigQuery.
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, GCP) and orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions like Datadog.
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning models or LLM-based systems.
