What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-functional UX team; define career ladders, growth frameworks, and hiring plans.
- Partner with the VP of Product to embed UX into product strategy and contribute to roadmap prioritization.
- Operationalize Pendo for user analytics, in-app guides, and behavioral insights; establish rituals for using usage, funnel, and NPS signals.
- Drive hypothesis-driven design with usability testing, A/B testing, and quantitative validation tied to adoption, activation, task success, and time-to-value.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design feasibility, velocity, and quality; maintain UX research integration into the design process.
- Own design system evolution and governance; oversee technical writing and in-app content, including onboarding, tooltips, walkthroughs, and contextual help.
Requirements
- 7+ years of UX leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven track record scaling a UX function in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience with Pendo and ability to translate behavioral data into design decisions.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to accelerate the design process and support design system governance and maintenance.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and in-app onboarding/guide best practices.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Support.
