Risk Analyst Middle/Middle+ (Fintech)

hirify.global is launching banking operations in Colombia and building its financial risk and business planning functions.

What you will do

• Lead internal reporting for market, liquidity, VaR, IRRBB, and credit risk.
• Contribute to business planning from a risk perspective and optimize capital consumption.
• Run ECL and IFRS 9 provisioning calculations and establish related processes with Data and IT teams.
• Prepare reporting packages, calculations, and investor materials.
• Extract and prepare DWH data, develop calculations in Excel and Python, and automate recurring runs.
• Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, validation, and continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in banking, financial risk, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, PivotTables, and large datasets.
• Python skills for data manipulation, calculations, and automation.
• Understanding of market, liquidity, VaR, IRRBB, and credit risk.
• Experience working with DWH data and basic or intermediate SQL.
• Experience defining data requirements and collaborating with IT and Data teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with internal risk reporting, capital optimization, or ECL and IFRS 9 provisioning.
• ALM or regulatory reporting experience.
• Tableau or other BI and visualization tools.
