What you will do

• Conduct individual and group alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans while maintaining comprehensive clinical records.
• Perform intake and readmission services, as well as provide supportive follow-up counseling.
• Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care with community providers.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Assist in implementing new programs and advise on caseload management.

Requirements

• Must hold a current counseling license (LPC or LCSW) as per state requirements.
• Must possess a Master's or Bachelor's degree in a human service-related field.
• Strong knowledge of substance abuse populations and treatment planning.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with professional judgment.
• Capability to react quickly and make effective decisions in stressful situations.
