What you will do

• Develop and maintain quality standards and SOPs for HVAC, geothermal, water heaters, and generator installations.
• Lead the QC Technician team and oversee daily milestone review throughput and SLA goals.
• Collaborate with product development and aftermarket services to create service and maintenance warranty programs.
• Conduct contractor onboarding and provide tailored training to ensure code compliance.
• Partner with tech teams to implement platform improvements for multi-technology milestone reviews.
• Track and report on KPIs, identifying trends in job closeout and approval metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in technical or construction-based roles focusing on residential HVAC and/or geothermal systems.
• 4+ years of experience developing and operationalizing programs and SOPs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, HVAC, Energy Systems, or Building Services Engineering.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a matrixed management environment.
• Strong data analytics and performance reporting skills.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with standby generator or water heater installations.
• Familiarity with residential building performance standards, Manual J/D/S calculations, or energy modeling.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification, NATE, or equivalent industry credentials.
