Network Engineer (Infrastructure)

TL;DR

Network Engineer (Infrastructure): Supporting enterprise and engineering network stacks within LAN/WAN/Cloud platforms with an accent on network maintenance, installation, and compliance. Focus on configuring and troubleshooting multivendor environments, ensuring security compliance with NIST and CMMC standards, and providing Tier 2 & 3 support for global infrastructure.

Location: Arlington, TX. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.

What you will do

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot corporate network systems across LAN, WAN, and WLAN infrastructure in local and global environments.
• Support and expand corporate private and public cloud services, with a focus on Azure GCC-High.
• Manage network requests including firewall policies, VPNs, carrier services, and core architecture (DNS/DHCP/IPAM).
• Implement security-first policies to ensure compliance with SOX, NIST 800-171, and CMMC regulations.
• Provide Tier 2 & 3 support and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for global network infrastructure.
• Collaborate on detailed network design documentation and support enterprise cybersecurity investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or AA degree with 3+ years in networking and operating system design.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.
• Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of Firewalls, Routers, Layer 2/3 Switches (Cisco/Arista), VPCs, and VLANs.
• Understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP) and network services (DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SMTP).
• Ability to work on-site in an office and manufacturing facility and participate in on-call rotations.

Nice to have

• Certifications: Arista Certified Engineer - Associate, CCNA Enterprise, or CompTIA Network+.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG, Solarwinds, or Nagios.
• Experience supporting hybrid Microsoft and Linux ecosystems (on-premises/cloud).
• Familiarity with Infoblox IPAM or cloud-based management platforms.
