Vice President, Product Development (ETF)

What you will do

• Identify market opportunities through analysis of client demand, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to build a robust ETF pipeline.
• Collaborate with investment teams, quantitative researchers, and strategists to translate proprietary insights into scalable ETF structures.
• Develop business cases and product recommendations to drive strategic growth and first-to-market innovation.
• Lead the end-to-end commercialization of differentiated ETF concepts, from concept generation through launch.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Marketing, and Sales to develop launch strategies and advisor messaging.
• Support Sales and National Accounts teams via product education and detailed competitive analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of ETF industry experience in product development, strategy, capital markets, or portfolio solutions.
• Strong understanding of ETF structures, investment products, and portfolio construction.
• Demonstrated ability to identify investment product opportunities and drive them to execution.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across a complex organization.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• CFA Charterholder or progress toward the CFA designation.
• Prior experience working within a large asset management organization.
• Familiarity with options-based investing, defined outcome strategies, quantitative investing, or indexing.
• Proven track record of bringing investment products from concept through successful launch.
