What you will do

• Design, code, test, and maintain a distributed trading system as part of the core development team.
• Take on production-targeted projects using Agile methodologies, covering the full development cycle.
• Build and optimize large-scale, high-performance infrastructure.
• Collaborate with experienced software engineers and receive continuous coaching from a dedicated mentor.
• Implement high-performance software by leveraging knowledge of hardware, networking, and operating systems.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London
• Experience with C++ and Python programming on Linux.
• Proficiency with Linux command line and Git/version control.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with daily software deployments.
• Reliable and predictable availability.

Nice to have

• Previous software development internship or professional job experience.
• Advanced coursework in algorithms, network programming, operating systems, or compilers.
• Experience with Rust or Claude Code in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of gRPC, Kafka, Redpanda, eBPF, DPDK, Clickhouse, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Pandas, SQL, MySQL, DuckDB, or the Arrow ecosystem.
