Campus Software Engineer (Intern) (C++)

What you will do

• Design, code, test, and maintain a distributed trading system within the core development team.
• Develop production-targeted projects through full-cycle development, testing, and release using Agile methodologies.
• Build high-performance software using C++ and Python on Linux.
• Work with experienced software engineers and receive continuous feedback and mentoring.
• Explore systems involving hardware, networking, operating systems, and trading infrastructure.

Requirements

• Experience with C++ and Python programming on Linux.
• Experience using the Linux command line and Git or other version-control systems.
• Strong understanding of data structures and threading models.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with daily software deployment.
• Reliable and predictable availability for the internship period.
• Students requiring an extended or non-summer placement may apply; finance or economics experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Previous software development internship or job experience.
• Advanced coursework in algorithms, network programming, operating systems, or compilers.
• Experience with Rust, Claude Code, gRPC, Kafka, Redpanda, eBPF, DPDK, ClickHouse, FastAPI, Kubernetes, Pandas, SQL, MySQL, DuckDB, or the Arrow ecosystem.
