What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain scalable enterprise software solutions to achieve company goals.
• Balance hands-on engineering (50%) with technical leadership, mentoring, and team coordination (50%).
• Translate stakeholder requests into engineering artifacts, including design specifications, source code, and test scripts.
• Partner with architects to ensure solutions align with Enterprise Architecture principles and best practices.
• Lead cross-team technical discussions and manage engineering risks by identifying and mitigating issues.
• Provide production support and resolve complex user issues adhering to established SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressively responsible software engineering experience.
• Proven experience serving as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or Team Lead in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in Java, .NET/C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Memcached).
• Must be based in the USA; willingness to travel to Raleigh or Jersey City for interviews.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native deployment practices.
• Knowledge of continuous delivery and infrastructure automation tools like Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
• Experience with Insurance and Reinsurance systems and data.
