DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Manage application environments across Development, Test, Acceptance, and Production.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployments, configuration, and monitoring setup via Ansible and Terraform.
• Support the development of a new platform built around APIs and backend services.
• Ensure security, resilience, stability, and observability are integrated from the start of the application lifecycle.
• Investigate root causes of issues and implement durable technical solutions for operational improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) or virtualization (VMware, OpenStack).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) and scripting using Python or Shell/Bash.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and source-control workflows.
• English: Advanced (C1) spoken and written proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle or other enterprise databases.
• Background in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of IAM, Active Directory, or access-management platforms.
• Experience with High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and security controls (e.g., SOX).
