Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 + Incentive Awards

What you will do

• Provide practical data protection advice, oversight, and challenge across the bank's operations.
• Review DPIAs, issue DPO opinions, and manage the assessment of data breaches and regulatory reporting.
• Manage relationships with regulators and oversee data subject rights and contact point processes.
• Lead and represent the DPO Office in critical bank-wide projects to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement scalable processes, governance, and group risk frameworks for the Global DPO Office.
• Integrate AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and speed of data protection workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK.
• Deep knowledge of UK GDPR, PECR, and ICO expectations.
• Relevant professional qualification, such as IAPP or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with DPIAs, data breaches, privacy notices, and regulator-facing activities.
• Experience in second-line oversight and the ability to provide effective challenge to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and deliver tangible improvements.
