Salary: £85,000 - £105,000 + Incentive Awards

What you will do
- Provide practical data protection advice, oversight, and challenge across the bank's operations.
- Review DPIAs, issue DPO opinions, and manage the assessment of data breaches and regulatory reporting.
- Manage relationships with regulators and oversee data subject rights and contact point processes.
- Lead and represent the DPO Office in critical bank-wide projects to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement scalable processes, governance, and group risk frameworks for the Global DPO Office.
- Integrate AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and speed of data protection workflows.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UK.
- Deep knowledge of UK GDPR, PECR, and ICO expectations.
- Relevant professional qualification, such as IAPP or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with DPIAs, data breaches, privacy notices, and regulator-facing activities.
- Experience in second-line oversight and the ability to provide effective challenge to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and deliver tangible improvements.
