What you will do

• Support and modernize data infrastructure to ensure platforms are performant, resilient, and secure.
• Collaborate with Data, Engineering, and Cyber teams to align operational goals and challenge existing processes.
• Manage and optimize the operational health of Snowflake, Dagster, and Qlik platforms.
• Implement monitoring and observability to detect and resolve platform stability issues.
• Automate operational tasks and workflows using scripting languages.

Requirements

• Foundational understanding of data movement: pipelines, ingestion, transformation, storage, and serving.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in an operational context.
• Proficiency in scripting for automation using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Exposure to big data concepts such as data warehouses, data lakes, or streaming data.
• Strong collaboration skills for working effectively across multiple time zones.
• Problem-solving mindset with a track record of suggesting process improvements.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Spark, Kafka, Databricks, or Hadoop.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, including querying and role management.
• Awareness of data orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and RBAC/Azure AD.
