TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes): Building and operating CI/CD pipelines, containerized production workloads, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems with an accent on reliability, performance, and deployment automation. Focus on scaling Kubernetes environments, improving monitoring and alert quality, responding to incidents, and optimizing infrastructure costs.
Location: Fully remote from Hungary or Bulgaria

What you will do
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for backend and frontend services.
- Operate and scale containerized production workloads on Kubernetes.
- Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, with exposure to Azure and GCP.
- Implement observability and monitoring tooling and improve alert quality.
- Configure and maintain networking and VPNs while supporting cost and resource optimization.
- Participate in on-call rotations, incident response, and reliability improvements involving SLAs and SLOs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitLab or GitHub, Helm, Terraform, and observability.
- Strong understanding of monitoring and observability.
- Experience operating production systems and improving reliability and performance.
- Comfort participating in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Residence in Hungary or Bulgaria is required for this remote role.
Nice to have
- Experience with Java, Redis, or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with frontend build pipelines, including React and PixiJS.
- Exposure to SRE concepts such as SLOs and error budgets.
