What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy billion-scale ML models for corpus understanding, entity extraction, and multimodal content analysis.
• Build and optimize ML systems for content quality assessment, moderation, ranking, and personalized surfacing.
• Drive end-to-end ownership of scientific initiatives from research and experimentation through to production deployment.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams across Search, Rufus, and Personalization to enhance the customer shopping journey.
• Mentor junior scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering scientific excellence.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree with 5+ years of applied research experience.
• 3+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying ML systems at scale, processing billions of data points.
