What you will do

• Define OT scope within global engineering projects, ensuring alignment with site and project partners.
• Formulate and lead OT strategies from concept through detailed design and equipment selection.
• Drive digital transformation through Industry 4.0 technologies to establish Smart Factories and Autonomous Manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Global IT/OT teams to develop technology standards and strategies.
• Communicate site and project requirements to vendors to ensure systems meet global automation standards.
• Build strong partnerships with Project Managers, Manufacturing Operations, and Quality teams to meet design intent.

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering GMP Process Control Systems (PCS) in pharmaceutical/biotech projects (DCS, SCADA, PLCs).
• Strong understanding of Biotech and API manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of secure integration of PCS with IT architectures, MES, process historians, and data analytics platforms.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Boxmeer, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of current GMP regulations and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with OT cybersecurity, electronic batch records (EBR), and warehouse automation.
• Experience with drug product automation, specifically vial filling and packaging.
