What you will do

• Operate End-to-End (E2E) simulators and software tools in remote Linux environments using a command line interface.
• Perform simulations to assess and evaluate the effects of non-compliance on mission performance.
• Review mission performance software components developed in C/C++ and Python.
• Produce and verify test data sets for performance simulators and analyze data from calibration campaigns.
• Identify software anomalies, report them to developers, and handle software installation and environment setup on remote Linux servers.
• Support the requirements verification process, including the preparation of Verification Control Boards (VCB).

Requirements

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Linux environments (CLI, SSH, FTP/SFTP/FTPS).
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python to interpret code structure and runtime errors.
• Competence with Docker for container management and diagnostics.
• Proven expertise with optical instruments (imagers) for simulation and processing.
• English: Fluent (C1) written and spoken.
• Eligibility to live and work in the EU.
