What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines for structured, unstructured, and multi-modal data.
• Build and scale retrieval infrastructure, including vector storage, embedding pipelines, and hybrid search.
• Develop agent memory systems and pipelines for AI observability and continuous improvement.
• Apply data quality, governance, and security standards to production AI retrieval workflows.
• Optimize AI data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Lead platform evolution by defining clear contracts between AI services and data systems.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience owning features end-to-end.
• Production experience with distributed systems and asynchronous workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI data infrastructure (vector databases, graph storage, RAG).
• Cloud experience on AWS (storage, messaging, orchestration).
• Experience with infrastructure as code (CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform).
• Strong English language communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks and orchestration of tool-using AI systems.
• Familiarity with AI evaluation tools like LangFuse or LangSmith.
• Experience with Nx Monorepo and modern developer tooling.
