What you will do

• Build and maintain infrastructure that powers reliable data collection at scale.
• Improve success rates against websites with aggressive defenses.
• Own the health, rotation, and cost efficiency of the proxy layer.
• Push system throughput and reliability under heavy, spiky real-world loads.
• Debug and resolve complex, intermittent failures across the entire stack.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in backend, networking, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience with networking, proxies, or high-throughput backend systems.
• Ability to own systems end-to-end and maintain them in production.
• Experience working in adversarial problem spaces and high-urgency environments.
• Must be authorized to work in the US or eligible remote-hire regions (no visa sponsorship available).
• Must be based in San Francisco or within the Americas (UTC-3 to UTC-10).
