M365 Cloud Engineer (Azure/M365): Designing and maintaining Exchange, Teams, and Entra ID environments within a corporate IT framework with an accent on mail flow architecture, security tuning, and compliance. What you will do
- Lead the design and administration of Exchange Online, including mailbox provisioning and tenant-to-tenant migration projects.
- Architect end-to-end mail flow, managing connectors, transport rules, and DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Own Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Microsoft Defender for Office 365, configuring anti-phishing and anti-spam policies.
- Implement and maintain M365 DLP policies and Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, including retention and eDiscovery.
- Develop PowerShell automation scripts for bulk operations, user lifecycle workflows, and Graph API integrations.
- Administer Microsoft Teams messaging/meeting policies and Entra ID (Azure AD) identity management.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in Exchange (on-premises and hybrid), Microsoft Teams, and Entra ID.
- Proven experience with mail flow security and DNS authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Strong proficiency in PowerShell for automation and reporting.
- Experience with ITIL and change management processes, including RFCs and CAB reviews.
- Knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
- Must be based in the UK.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale Exchange migrations and tenant consolidations.
- Microsoft certifications in Exchange, Teams, Microsoft 365, or Azure.
- Experience administering RingCentral user provisioning and IVR.
