What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept (PoC) phases for key customers.
• Design and implement reference architectures, how-to guides, and demo applications.
• Integrate Databricks with third-party applications to support complex enterprise ecosystems.
• Partner with Account Executives to build long-term relationships and deliver technical and business value.
• Engage the technical community through workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Act as a technical voice for the Kansai market to inform product and field teams.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-sales or post-sales roles working directly with external clients.
• Core strength in either Data Engineering or Data Science.
• Proven experience designing and implementing architectures within AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Big Data technologies, including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Cassandra.
• Coding proficiency in Python or Scala; Java and R experience is desirable.
• Written and verbal fluency in Japanese.
