Senior Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid, must be based in New York, NY (working from office 3 days per week)

Salary: $220,500 - $298,000

What you will do

• Drive high-velocity technology initiatives and architectural layers end-to-end to accelerate business and customer outcomes.
• Design and implement durable, scalable, and secure software solutions for critical customer problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Build AI-native applications, guiding the application of AI technologies while validating accuracy through evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to release new features.
• Contribute to engineering standards, patterns, and best practices to improve the overall engineering community.
• Mentor technical and non-technical stakeholders and provide perspective on emerging industry trends.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing software for large business environments and 7+ years designing complex distributed systems.
• Full-stack development experience incorporating AI technologies into user experiences or backend solutions.
• Proficiency with AI tools such as SageMaker, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
• Experience with frontend (React, Angular, SwiftUI, Kotlin) or backend (Java, TypeScript, Spring, Node.js) technologies.
• Experience working in cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
• At least 1 year of experience building AI-native applications.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
