What you will do
- Deliver engineering strategy to ensure high-quality, predictable, and timely software delivery.
- Execute complex technical decisions and architecture for high-performance platforms.
- Write, test, and review code while performing debugging and troubleshooting for complex projects.
- Implement and maintain high-quality tools and automation processes to support continuous delivery.
- Drive an engineering culture that fosters innovation, creativity, and reliability.
- Design automated test strategies for UI components, accessibility, and user journeys.
Requirements
- Must be based in London or Ipswich, UK
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript with extensive experience in React.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and scripting.
- Deep understanding of software development principles including TDD, modular architecture, and version control.
- Extensive background in software architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Experience with virtualization and orchestration tools like Docker, OpenStack, or VMWare.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring practices.
