TL;DR
Senior Frontend Developer (React): Building and optimizing modern, responsive web applications for a leading insurance platform with an accent on performance, accessibility, and clean, maintainable architecture. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Liverpool, UK (Hybrid: 3 days in office)
Salary: £65,000–£75,000

What you will do
- Design and develop responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Build scalable, reusable frontend components with clean, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers in an agile squad environment.
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and security.
- Monitor and improve frontend health using Sentry and PostHog.
- Mentor developers and help define frontend standards and practices.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship (at least one year remaining on Graduate or Post-Study Work visa if applicable).
- Proven experience building production-ready frontend applications.
- Strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
- Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and security best practices.
- Experience with Docker and Azure deployments.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and experience mentoring others.
Nice to have
- React Native experience.
- Knowledge of state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with web performance optimization and web vitals.
