TL;DR

Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js): Building and scaling consumer-facing financial products with an accent on performance, accessibility, and modern cloud-integrated architectures. Focus on driving technical strategy, mentoring team members, and leveraging AI-assisted engineering practices to deliver high-quality, responsive user interfaces.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Manchester, UK (Hybrid: 2 days in the office per week).

What you will do

  • Lead feature delivery and drive technical strategy within an agile product team.
  • Build and maintain modern single-page applications with a focus on accessibility and performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to ship intuitive, responsive UIs end-to-end.
  • Champion engineering best practices including TDD, pairing, and continuous delivery.
  • Mentor team members and provide thoughtful feedback to raise the bar on frontend craft.
  • Experiment with AI-enabled tools to improve software delivery and architectural discovery.

Requirements

  • Significant experience with modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred, React valuable).
  • Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/E2E) and TDD practices.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Manchester, UK.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience in pairing and mob programming.
  • Strong focus on code design, maintainability, and customer outcomes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Playwright or similar E2E testing tools.
  • Exposure to AWS Amplify and Cognito.
