What you will do

• Lead and scale clinical operations across physicians, APPs, dietitians, and clinical support teams to deliver evidence-based care and a high-quality patient experience.
• Own clinical operating performance including SLAs, capacity, utilization, and multi-state workforce planning in partnership with Practice Operations and Finance.
• Set clinical operations strategy and drive practice transformation (e.g., physician–APP models, new service lines, workflow redesign) with COO, CMO, and Executive Leadership.
• Provide strategic guidance to Product and Engineering on tools/features that impact clinicians and patients, aligning the product roadmap with evolving care models.
• Lead, coach, and develop clinical leaders and managers; build scalable leadership infrastructure and support clinician wellness.
• Maintain a small longitudinal patient panel while representing the clinical organization externally and supporting Sales/Marketing with clinical narratives when needed.

Requirements

• MD/DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology (or relevant subspecialty), with current licensure in good standing.
• ABOM certification OR strong commitment and eligibility to become ABOM-certified after joining.
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience with strong familiarity with obesity medicine and chronic metabolic disease treatment preferred.
• 3+ years of clinical leadership experience in a scaled, multi-state telehealth or large virtual/hybrid practice with significant exposure to operating at “presence of scale.”
• Proven ability to lead through influence in a highly cross-functional environment to drive clinical quality and operational performance.
• Exceptional people leadership skills and a strong commitment to clinician wellness and DEI.
