What you will do

• Oversee all accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of 40+ entities and 100+ properties.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections.
• Develop and track meaningful company KPIs to provide actionable insights to ownership.
• Build and document departmental workflows, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Manage the transition from manual processes to an automated, AI-assisted operating model.
• Balance strategic leadership with hands-on accounting execution and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience in a complex business environment.
• Proven ability to manage an entire accounting and finance department.
• Strong expertise in financial statements, general ledger, and internal controls.
• Experience managing multiple entities, properties, or business units.
• Must be able to work on-site in Manhattan Beach, California.
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage SOPs and reporting systems.

Nice to have

• CPA license.
• Experience with AppFolio property management software.
• Background in real estate or property management accounting.
