TL;DR
Technical Support Engineer (Fintech): Resolving complex technical issues and managing support tiers for a revenue design platform with an accent on troubleshooting API integrations and billing architectures. Focus on optimizing support workflows, triaging P0 issues, and leveraging data to drive product improvements.
Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands (must be based in the area and work in-office 3x per week)

What you will do
- Resolve technical issues via SOPs and hands-on troubleshooting or by coordinating internal tickets.
- Triage urgent customer reports, identify P0 issues, and route them to engineering.
- Establish and report on support responsiveness and time-to-resolution standards.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Operations to improve support tooling and integrations.
- Analyze recurring issue patterns to drive continuous improvements in product and engineering.
- Develop internal playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base content.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a highly technical customer support or service role.
- Experience programming in Python or TypeScript.
- Functional SQL knowledge and familiarity with AWS.
- Ability to write scripts or lightweight internal tools leveraging APIs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be based in the Amsterdam, Netherlands area and able to work from the office 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with billing platforms/systems and finance concepts such as Deferred Revenue.
- History of using data to improve customer experience or product quality.
