TL;DR
AI Automations & Data Specialist (AI, Power BI, Python, SQL): Building and maintaining AI automations, data pipelines, and complex Power BI dashboards for a growing cloud-accounting firm with an accent on workflow integration, data accuracy, and reporting infrastructure. Focus on designing cross-system automations, validating financial data and DAX calculations, and maintaining reliable production pipelines.
Location: Fully remote
Salary: Up to $5,000 USD per month, based on experience

is a growing, fully remote cloud-accounting firm delivering accounting, tax, and professional services to hundreds of U.S. clients.
What you will do
- Own, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and their supporting data pipelines, Python scripts, SQL cron jobs, and gateway refresh chains.
- Manage the monthly margin and quarterly profit share processes, coordinating data snapshots across time tracking, financial, and payroll systems.
- Clean, reconcile, and validate data from multiple sources before calculations affect team payouts.
- Build and maintain AI-powered and low-code automations across the company using tools such as Claude, Zapier, and Make.
- Develop integrations and solutions for sales, HR, invoicing, and client workflows.
- Document solutions thoroughly and support colleagues in using the systems built.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AI automations and data in a B2B business.
- Expertise with Power BI or an equivalent platform, including production dashboards, data pipelines, database design, row-level security, and DAX.
- Strong Python and SQL skills, including pipeline maintenance, SQL cron jobs, and data-system documentation.
- Proven experience automating workflows with AI and low-code tools such as Claude, Zapier, and Make.
- Advanced Excel skills, including structured tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, named ranges, data validation, and pivot tables.
- Strong data governance, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

- Basic accounting literacy, including understanding charts of accounts, GL structures, and accounting fundamentals.
