Director AI & Automation (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Fort Lauderdale, FL; must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

What you will do

• Own and operate the deployment funnel for all AI and automation solutions.
• Develop automation workflows and manage data source connections while ensuring governance and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to translate business process documentation into technical solutions.
• Maintain reusable data models and optimize query performance across automation workflows.
• Utilize AI-powered coding assistants and prompt engineering to accelerate development.
• Perform deep-dive analyses and impact assessments for automation business outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in data and automation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Data Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with APIs and data pipelines.
• Proficiency with AI-powered development tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with workflow automation platforms like n8n or Zapier.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience with prompt engineering and cloud data platforms.
