Salary: $236,000 – $295,000

What you will do
- Own the total rewards strategy across compensation, equity, benefits, recognition, and related policies.
- Lead the design and administration of broad-based and leadership compensation programs, including base pay and bonuses.
- Evolve the compensation philosophy, job architecture, and benchmarking approach to support growth and internal equity.
- Partner with the CPO, Finance, and Legal on annual planning and Compensation Committee materials.
- Own benefits strategy and administration to ensure programs are competitive, compliant, and financially sound.
- Build operational rigor, including clear documentation, manager tools, and reporting frameworks.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive Total Rewards experience in both compensation and benefits.
- Experience leading Total Rewards in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
- Deep expertise in market benchmarking, pay structures, incentive design, and executive compensation.
- Proven track record of building scalable processes and governance systems.
- Strong analytical fluency and the ability to translate complex data into practical recommendations.
- Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA in a hybrid capacity.
Nice to have
- Experience with private-company equity programs and equity strategy transitions.
- Experience supporting international growth and global benefits/compensation.
- Experience modernizing Total Rewards infrastructure using automation and AI-enabled tools.
