What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines across product and operational systems.
• Develop and operate customer-facing recommendation engines, including LLM-based logic.
• Create transformation and integration pipelines for multi-source food data.
• Partner with analytics and marketing teams to support self-serve tools.
• Own data quality monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks.
• Implement CI/CD for data pipelines, including automated testing and staged rollouts.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience operating data engineering systems in production.
• Proficiency in Python and tools like dbt, Airflow, or Fivetran.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Experience building production-grade recommendation systems or pipelines.
• Proven track record of setting up CI/CD for data pipelines and measuring model outcomes.

Nice to have

• Exposure to distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Familiarity with BI tools like Hex, Mixpanel, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of data contract or data mesh patterns.
