What you will do

• Design, develop, and test software applications and database architectures to deliver advanced data analytics capabilities.
• Develop robust ETL data pipelines and implement data modeling solutions using relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases.
• Design and document database applications, including interfaces, data transfer mechanisms, and data partitions.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members, reviewing design alternatives and solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, and decision-makers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex software issues and ensure system reliability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience with Spark on Snowflake or Databricks.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, and SQL development.
• Experience building ETL data pipelines and working with Big Data file formats (Parquet, Avro, Delta Lake).
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure services such as AWS (S3, SQS) and GitLab.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Advanced understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and developing AI tooling integrations.
• Familiarity with Customer Data Platform (CDP) concepts and communication workflows like Braze.
• Experience with Tableau performance optimization.
