Legal Operations & Contracts Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $90,000–$135,000 per year plus bonus and equity

What you will do

• Build and own Legal’s technology stack, including tool selection, implementation, renewals, standards, roadmap, and ROI.
• Evaluate and deploy AI-driven legal tools for contract review, redlining, clause extraction, knowledge retrieval, and self-service intake while defining confidentiality, accuracy, privilege, and data-handling guardrails.
• Administer Ironclad end to end, including workflows, launch forms, templates, approvals, permissions, reporting, AI features, and obligation tracking.
• Integrate Ironclad with HubSpot, e-signature platforms, and other business systems using connectors, APIs, or automation tools.
• Run legal intake and contract operations, maintain playbooks and templates, process standard commercial agreements and Order Forms, and escalate non-standard terms to Counsel.
• Manage enterprise contract review vendors, maintain redline continuity, report on operational metrics, and build dashboards to identify bottlenecks and prioritize improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, or contract management in-house at a SaaS or technology company.
• Hands-on experience administering Ironclad CLM, including workflow design, templates, permissions, reporting, and integrations; implementation experience is strongly preferred within this requirement.
• Experience connecting legal systems to a CRM such as HubSpot or Salesforce, e-signature platforms, and workflow automation tools.
• Direct experience with AI-driven legal tools and the ability to assess where they reduce effort and where they introduce risk.
• Strong understanding of SaaS agreements, NDAs, and Order Forms sufficient to build playbooks and identify escalation points.
• Project management skills, comfort with data, and the ability to scope cross-functional projects and demonstrate measurable results.
• Familiarity with US and EU privacy law, including GDPR, HIPAA, and CPRA, and related BAAs and DPAs.
