TL;DR
Cloud Infrastructure Architect (HPC): Designing and implementing next-generation High-Performance Computing clusters for a CNO environment with an accent on AI/LLM integration and developer experience. Focus on modernizing legacy workflows, building robust CI/CD pipelines, and executing strategic infrastructure migrations.
Location: Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. Must currently reside in the United States. Active TS/SCI with FSP clearance required.

What you will do
- Design, build, and implement cutting-edge HPC clusters and overall system architecture.
- Develop technical roadmaps and templates to enable seamless AI and LLM integration for development teams.
- Modernize developer workflows and integration patterns between legacy systems and new HPC environments.
- Perform deep technical assessments of aging platforms and execute incremental migrations.
- Act as a champion for the development community to remove technical friction and optimize the ecosystem.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with a technical degree, or 12+ years of equivalent engineering experience.
- 5+ years of deep systems engineering and cloud architecture experience.
- Hands-on expertise in system design and configuration within production HPC environments.
- Proven experience leading infrastructure modernization and incremental migrations.
- Active TS/SCI with Poly (FSP) clearance.
- Must currently reside in the United States.
Nice to have
- Direct experience in CNO development.
- Deep understanding of restricted enclave environments and associated security controls.
- Experience in FinOps and cloud resource cost optimization.
