What you will do

• Build, lead, and scale a high-performing product engineering organization including managers and technical leaders.
• Define the multi-year product engineering strategy for experimentation, feature flags, dynamic configuration, and rollout safety.
• Partner with leaders across ChatGPT, Codex, and other product teams to align experimentation needs.
• Guide technical direction across frontend, backend, SDK, data, and infrastructure surfaces.
• Balance rapid platform adoption with reliability, performance, and correctness.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex product-platform tradeoffs and cross-company prioritization.

Requirements

• Substantial engineering leadership experience, including leading managers or multiple engineering teams.
• Track record of building or scaling experimentation, analytics, developer tools, or internal platform organizations.
• Strong product sense to transform ambiguous customer workflows into durable platform strategy.
• Proven ability to hire senior talent and develop a strong leadership bench.
• Capacity to operate credibly with senior research, data, and infrastructure leaders.
• Must be based in the US (Seattle)
