What you will do

• Manage, configure, and optimize security platforms to reduce enterprise risk.
• Design and implement security controls to meet HITRUST and CIS framework requirements.
• Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments across IT and cloud systems.
• Respond to security incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with architects and IT teams to integrate security requirements into projects.
• Investigate suspected improper activity and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Willingness to travel to client or corporate office locations as business needs require.
• Proficiency in threat identification, analysis, and threat model design.
• Understanding of cloud security structures and technical control deployment.
• Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• CySA+ or CASP+ certification.
• Experience or interest in applying AI to security processes.
