Location: Remote (Must be based in the US)
Salary: $250,000 - $288,500

What you will do
- Develop and execute the enterprise information security vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap.
- Own the risk management program, ensuring compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI DSS, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Oversee security operations (SOC), threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response functions.
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to embed security into the SDLC via threat modeling and secure code review.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing security teams while managing budgets and vendor relationships.
- Serve as the executive point of contact for the Board, cyber insurance underwriters, and regulatory examiners.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Information Security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Must be based in the US (implied by 401k and US health insurance benefits).
- Deep working knowledge of HIPAA and hands-on experience managing compliance in covered entity or business associate environments.
- Experience with HITRUST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and cloud security principles for modern SaaS architecture.
- One or more recognized certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCISO, CRISC, or CISA.
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical security risks into business and financial impact for executive and board-level audiences.
