Echo Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment supporting photo, etch, cleans, metrology, and films.
• Analyze process and tool performance, reduce variation, and increase production capacity across new and existing toolsets.
• Improve tool reliability, availability, throughput, cost performance, process monitoring, and sensor capabilities.
• Identify and support defectivity and scrap reduction efforts, define Out of Control Action Plans, and resolve recurring failures.
• Specify, source, qualify, and document new equipment, alternate parts, and technical requirements.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional and lean activity teams, while working with and training technicians and peers.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or another technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting equipment in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Export Control Clearance.
• Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data and create timely corrective action plans.
• Competence in troubleshooting, logical problem isolation, equipment repair, presentation, training, and communication.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and collaborate across multiple disciplines in a 24x7 manufacturing facility, with safety- and quality-focused work habits.
