What you will do

• Maintain, upgrade, monitor, and troubleshoot wafer fabrication equipment supporting photo, etch, cleans, metrology, or films.
• Reduce process and tool variation, defects, scrap, recurring failures, and Mean Time Between Failure.
• Increase production capacity, tool availability, throughput, reliability, and cost performance.
• Define Out of Control Action Plans and improve process monitoring and sensor capabilities.
• Specify, source, qualify, and develop requirements for new equipment, alternate parts, and process improvements.
• Apply Six-Sigma statistical process control methods and participate in or lead cross-functional lean activity teams; train technicians and peers.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or another technical field.
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing supporting equipment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Export Control Clearance.
• Ability to generate, analyze, and interpret equipment and process performance data and produce timely action plans to resolve recurring failures.
• Competence in troubleshooting, applying logic to isolate and repair problems, and managing multiple issues and shifting priorities.
• Demonstrated presentation skills, including training others and presenting complex datasets and process problems or solutions to diverse audiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with multiple disciplines in a 24x7 manufacturing facility.
• Self-motivation, initiative, effective prioritization, creative problem-solving, and out-of-the-box thinking.
