TL;DR
Service Desk Analyst (IT Support): Providing first-line technical support and managing hardware assets at the Smart Bar with an accent on user interaction, device lifecycle management, and incident resolution. Focus on supporting 1600+ colleagues and seasonal staff through Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune to ensure seamless exam operations.
Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Guildford, UK (Hybrid role).
Salary: £25,800–£28,400

What you will do
- Provide first-line technical support via the Smart Bar, telephone, and service desk portal.
- Manage hardware assets including laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Provision software and manage user accounts using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including VPN and device configuration.
- Maintain knowledge articles and assist with continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operation of meeting rooms and office spaces.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to commute to Guildford, UK.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune.
- Strong communication skills for effective engagement with internal colleagues.
- Rational and organized approach to managing workloads and meeting targets.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited discretion.
Nice to have
- Experience with SCCM and/or Windows Autopilot.
- Previous experience in device deployment and lifecycle management.
