TL;DR

Service Desk Analyst (IT Support): Providing first-line technical support and managing hardware assets at the hirify.global Smart Bar with an accent on user interaction, device lifecycle management, and incident resolution. Focus on supporting 1600+ colleagues and seasonal staff through Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune to ensure seamless exam operations.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Guildford, UK (Hybrid role).

Salary: £25,800–£28,400

What you will do

  • Provide first-line technical support via the Smart Bar, telephone, and service desk portal.
  • Manage hardware assets including laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Provision software and manage user accounts using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including VPN and device configuration.
  • Maintain knowledge articles and assist with continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operation of meeting rooms and office spaces.

Requirements

  • Must be based in or able to commute to Guildford, UK.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and Intune.
  • Strong communication skills for effective engagement with internal colleagues.
  • Rational and organized approach to managing workloads and meeting targets.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited discretion.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SCCM and/or Windows Autopilot.
  • Previous experience in device deployment and lifecycle management.
