Manufacturing Solutions Engineer

Location: Somerville, MA; hybrid work environment with presence in the office 3+ days per week. 25% travel expected within North America.

Salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year; compensation range applies across all US locations.

What you will do

• Partner with customers to understand operational challenges, goals, and success criteria, and support solution architecture for specific processes.
• Work with customers and partners to develop, configure, and implement hirify.global solutions.
• Support enterprise-level projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Build relationships across customer organizations from the shop floor to the C-suite and provide ongoing technical support.
• Use OT/IT systems knowledge, including MES, ERP, and device integration, to guide complex implementation decisions.
• Represent customer feedback internally and contribute to product improvements, processes, playbooks, and delivery frameworks.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations technology, or a related field, with demonstrated customer-facing project leadership.
• Experience with Operations Technology, including MES, ERP, or similar systems.
• Experience in system and device integration in the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience leading Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives and identifying opportunities on a shop floor.
• Strong project management, organization, and written and verbal communication skills, including experience managing enterprise-level engagements.
• BS degree in Engineering or a similar field.
• Availability for 25% travel within North America and hybrid work in the Somerville office at least 3 days per week.
