What you will do

• Design and maintain ADS/ADAS software solutions for production and future autonomy platforms.
• Integrate and fuse data from camera, radar, lidar, and ultrasonic sensors into a reliable perception pipeline.
• Translate system requirements into scalable software architectures and algorithms.
• Lead perception efforts across planning, controls, and validation teams.
• Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and collaboration on best practices.
• Ensure software quality and safety compliance with automotive standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded software design and implementation.
• Proficiency in C, C++, or Simulink.
• Knowledge of ADAS/ADS concepts and real-time embedded platforms.
• Experience with code optimization for speed and memory usage.
• Ability to perform unit and system-level testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kalman filtering and signal processing methodologies.
• Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN and Ethernet.
• Knowledge of GM-specific program management processes (GVDP, STAGES, etc.).
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing.
